Bio
Felipe Alexandre de Lima holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business & Trade and a master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Fortaleza, Brazil. He is a doctoral student at the Chair of Supply Management, University of Kassel, Germany, and an early stage researcher in the Realising the Transition to the Circular Economy (ReTraCE) project. His research interests are focused on (Sustainable) Supply Chain Management, Risks and Uncertainties, Sustainability, and Circular Economy.
Research
As an ESR based at UniKassel, Felipe will focus on risk management in multi-tier circular supply chains. His research will accomplish ReTraCE’s research question on enhancing the sustainability of supply chains and production systems by implementing initiatives (at the micro and meso levels) that considers the circular economy concept. He will also identify the main risks and barriers (from both a technological and relational point of view) to the implementation of these initiatives and explore case studies to understand how companies deal with risks in multi-tier circular supply chains, and which mitigation measures should be implemented.
