Ben Lowe

Ben is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Sheffield University Management School. Prior to completing his ESRC-funded PhD in 2018, Ben completed his MBA – also at Sheffield – and worked professionally for several years in corporate and project finance, including senior roles.

Ben’s research focuses on examining and mitigating the impacts that businesses and consumers have on the natural environment. In particular, given Ben’s background in environmental and resource economics, his research has looked at how the value of non-market environmental goods and services can be included in decision making.
Ben has published in Ecological Economics, Journal of Environmental Management, Data in Brief and Water.
