Congratulations to our ESR, Jayani Sudusinghe, who has completed her PhD at the University of Kassel! One more success for the ReTraCE community. Below, Jayani’s own words celebrating this huge achievement:
“It has been an exciting journey with the SCM team at UniKassel along with all the extended family of PhD alumni.
Of course, a very special thank goes to Prof. Stefan Seuring for providing me this opportunity to be a part of this amazing team and be a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the ReTraCE project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 MSCA ITN program while mentoring me to be a better researcher and an academic.
I also highly appreciate all the support offered by the team, by the whole ReTraCE consortium and fellow ESRs!
All of this would not have been possible if it weren’t for my loving husband, Biman Darshana Hettiarachchi, and my family for always believing in me.
My PhD research is focused on managing collaboration in circular supply chains where I developed four research papers.
I highly value the feedback I gained through viva by all the examiners (Prof. Linda Hendry, Dr. Philipp C. Sauer, Prof. Stefan Gold and Prof.Heike Wetzel); this will give me the possibility of further developing my research”.
